Precision Vet and all of its staff have been great to work with! Our dog doesn't do well with strangers or the vet, but the staff have always been so patient and caring with him. Highly recommend Precision Vet!

Overall above and beyond. I have taken many foster cats to precision over the years but never my personal pets as I live an hour away. I adopted a dog last year though, and the rescue partners with precision as well for spay/neuter - so this was my first more personal experience working with them for one of my own pets and they were so wonderful. My dog is a bit dramatic/vocal on a regular day so his post-neuter experience was a little rough for a day or so. I figured he was probably ok but he still made me worry a few times/get those what-if thoughts. I emailed precision photos and a video and every response was SO thorough and I could just tell they cared. They also proceeded to check in with me the next day and the following business day after the weekend. They also offered to speak with my local vet to get me meds to pick up if he wasn’t improving, or to go ahead and bring him back for them to examine again. Thankfully my dog ended up being fine and didn’t need anything additional, but the clear effort they made to make sure Opie was okay and that I was informed was truly appreciated.
I literally owe these amazing people, my cats Life! They are so kind and their willingness to Work with us is awesome. We have seven cats and in the fall my tuxedo had giardia and then once that cleared, they were able to tell us he had FIP. My Samson was almost five pounds. Today, he is a thick and back to his trouble making ways. A few of our babies 🐈 Thank you all again for all the amazing stuff you do for our family and community 🥰

This place is awesome! The staff is super friendly and just really easy to talk to. The vets are caring and thorough without making the whole visit feel long or stressful. Everything is quick, simple, and straight to the point — which I love. The care is always consistent, and they really seem to know what they’re doing. For a low-cost clinic, the quality is amazing. My pet actually doesn’t freak out coming here, which says a lot. Totally recommend them — they make vet visits way easier than I ever expected. Teddy says 10/10 will come again!
I have been using Precision for many years. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Working at a vet is not all sunshine and playing with kittens. It is working with very medically fragile animals. It is not all spays and dentals and not every procedure has a positive outcome. Everyone who works in this office feels it all- enjoying happy kitten snuggles, celebrating successes and making hard decisions with pet parents. I know there are vets that cry when I cry, and I am far from their only emotional pet parent. I could not imagine the emotional roller-coaster they experience daily. Yall are very very appreciated!
I have experience with Precision Vet with a personal pet and also as a foster for Misfits rescue. My personal pet, Pugsley, needed an amputation due to a severe leg deformity. We had already spent thousands trying to help him. Precision was recommended for his amputation. They did not take the other doctors recommendation. Dr. Meghan reviewed his records and xrays before agreeing to do the procedure. This is the kind of vet you want doing surgery on your pet. Second as a foster I have many seen many incisions and animals that they have helped. Incisions are clean, small, and the animals are well cared for. These guys do great work for people who need a low cost option. Thanks for being here!

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Precision. I took my young pug puppy in for spay surgery and repair of an umbilical hernia. She did awesome with recovering and healing. Unlike prior experiences I have had with animals at other facilities, she was comfortable and pain-free. She was sleepy when I picked her up but other than that you would not know she had had a major surgery. The staff was very friendly and patient with my questions. Their prices are extremely reasonable. I will definitely bring my furry family members here again.
Very kind and loving vet! I needed a good place that could help my baby feel better the vet was very nice and helpful explaining what I needed to do for care and not over charging like others vets are around town. They did specifically say they are not a full service vet bit if you need a good doctor to check up on your babies and getting vaccines please use this vet I will be using them for all my babies from now on.
I adopted a dog from a shelter in Wisconsin, and they used Precision Veterinary for all of his shots. As I've gotten my dog settled in Chicago, I've had to call their office for various copies of records and their team is always so kind and helpful. Anything I need, they send over via email by the end of the day. They're a really wonderful team, and I'm grateful they took care of my pup before I got him!

We sent our two kittens down with a local animal shelter to be fixed and get their rabies vaccinations. That is all I expected. They came home with two days worth of post-op meds, e-collars, a rabies certificate and tag, AND a four-page after visit summary detailing everything from start to finish. In addition to the expected services, they trimmed their claws and cleaned their ears. They even noted an upper respiratory infection in one of the kittens and provided a two-week supply of antibiotics at not additional cost with instructions to call with any concerns. Just amazing services. Unbelievable.

Dr. Remy is great at communicating, is compassionate, and always does good work. My cat just had a couple teeth extracted and she was already feeling better the same day. Precision treats all of my pets and they always do an astounding job and respond to any questions I have almost immediately. All of the staff are wonderful. The prices are unbeatable. They are the best I’ve found!
It dropped my kitten off in the morning and picked her up in the afternoon. It's been almost 14 days since her surgery and she's doing great. I couldn't be happier. I did keep her locked up in the second bedroom for 10 days before allowing supervised play time out with the other cats.

I’ve been a licensed wildlife rehabilitator for 23 years and am the founder of the area nonprofit, Wisconsin WildCare. Over the years, I’ve have worked with many different veterinarians/clinics and recognize a good one right away: good communication, super easy to schedule, very affordable fees, and staff that clearly care about every patient. We have a feral cat colony on our small farm just north of Madison (they just show up out here :-( ). We trap and spay/neuter them. If they have kittens, we socialize them and place them in good homes. You simply cannot schedule the capture of a feral cat. Precision always has gotten these cats in next-day. They’ve been understanding when we need to cancel last minute because we couldn’t get a cat into a carrier, or any other reason. I hug

In my experiences, they've been great. In total , I've taken 8 cats there to get fixed. They'll call you with any concerns about your pet and let you know as soon as they're out of surgery. It's very affordable, especially compared to the vets in my area and they do just as good, if not better.
I didn't actually end up here for an appointment, but still had a good experience regardless when trying to schedule an emergency appointment. I contacted Precision when I was looking to get additional testing to see if my cat needed surgery - while Precision was unable to help me, they took the time to email and recommend a sizeable list of vets in the area who would be able to help, while adding notes for each one on the advantages for each clinic. I truly did appreciate the detailed response and wanted to add a note of thanks :)

I had my dog Eris spayed here October 18th. All the staff I came into contact day of surgery were very friendly and caring. Surgery went super well, but unfortunately Eris developed a horrible case of diarrhea. The staff there helped us through every step of the way checking in and giving suggestions. Here we are just over 2 weeks later and she is all healed up and doing fantastic. Great staff!
We had two cats neutered. The care they received and the after surgery instructions were very complete. Definitely a good place to take your pet. The picture below is North playing in his box.

They are awesome! We have two dogs and are very blessed to have Precision Veterinary take care of them. They love your pet and you can tell that you and your pets are important. They are very understanding, and go out of their way to answer your questions. They reply fast and are willing to do whatever they can to help. Drop off and pick up were absolutely seamless and super convenient. The staff is so alert that you don't even have time to call the phone number on the door before they're at your car to see who you're there to pick up. Both cats recovering brilliantly and excellent Aftercare directions were provided.
I had my dog neutered there and not only was the procedure seamless, but they checked up on him a few days afterward. Our dog had some swelling/infections going on and they consistently checked in with us to make sure everything was getting better and going according to plan. This place is also affordable which is an added bonus! I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who needs to get their animal spayed/neutered!

Don't mistake the low-cost care here for being inferior or any less comprehensive. On the contrary, Dr. Meghan is one of the most skilled surgeons and accomplished veterinarians I've met. She and her staff provide amazing individual care and better quality of service than places charging 5-10x more. I don't know what I'd do without her.

We took our chihuahua here to get neutered and had such a great experience. We were especially worried of having our dog fixed because we have a small breed and was looking for a vet that had experience working with small dogs. The staff happily greeted us at our car, reviewed paperwork, and retrieved our dog. When we picked him up later, the staff took the time to explain how to take care of our dog post-surgery and answered any questions. They even sent him home with pain medicine without additional cost. My dog recovered very well from the procedure. I would definitely recommend Precision Veterinary to anybody who is looking for a low-cost clinic that doesn't sacrifice quality.

We had our 8 month old doodle spayed by Dr Megan in October, with fantastic results. Barley was diagnosed with a heart arrhythmia by our local vet and refused to spay her until she had a $1,000+ cardio work up done by UW. On top of that, they quoted us an $600 spay because she would require special drugs and monitoring. I got a second opinion by Dr Megan and she assured me Barley could be spayed with an arrhythmia. They did take special precautions, listened closely to her heart prior and opted for an alternative drug used for "heart dogs". I still paid less than $200 for the entire procedure. I can't recommend this clinic enough. More vets should have her outlook on veterinary care!
This clinic is so reasonable for their fees, I wish I lived closer to use their services regularly! They gave myself all the information I needed before & after care. Koda (Husky 1 yr old) had a hernia repair, spayed, microchipped, & shots for half the price it cost me to just neuter 2 males at a clinic near me. Their facility is clean & staff is friendly & knowledgeable. I’ve already recommended my sister take her pup here & would highly recommend their clinic to anyone needing care for their fur babies!

We took our 4 1/2 year old golden retriever, Nugget, in for neutering in early October, 2019. EVERYTHING about the whole process was professional; the staff was so wonderful and caring (they even offered us coffee....at 7am we really appreciated that). They have a separate entrance where you bring your dog into the clinic which is such a plus! The veterinarian explained everything she was going to do in great detail and re-assured us that our little Nugget (94 pounds) was going to be fine. And he was! We followed the doctor's orders regarding post-surgery care and he healed up great! If you are reading this post, please do not hesitate to take your beloved pet there.

Excellent low cost vet clinic. I came with my foster kitty from community cat. The staff was friendly and excellent with my kitty. I might even start bringing my own cat here too. My only criticism is that the staff upfront mistook my medical device for my disability for a sound coming from the printer. They called it annoying and really embarrassed me. They should work on customer care.

Precision Vet is worth the drive every time! Dr. Meghan is so knowledgeable in shelter medicine. She has treated numerous foster dogs and my resident dog. The office staff are always friendly and prompt.
I won’t take my dog anywhere else. He was neutered a few days ago and the staff there was very friendly, knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and professional. Their after care is also fantastic. We thought we had an issue with our furry boy after surgery and emailed them a photo of the wound. They responded within minutes and helped us. It’s a great and comfortable atmosphere the moment you walk through the doors. Dr. Meghan and her staff is top class.
Absolutely WONDERFUL experience!! Registered my 3 little female cats the day prior..smooth easy online registration process with quick email confirmation of appts.. My hubby took them in and picked them up the day of surgery.. very impressed with kind caring staff..beautiful facility .. excellent thorough post op instructions on care and meds... All 3girls came through with flying colors ~ and compared to $300+/cat .. that it would’ve cost at my regular vet.. it’s a fabulous deal for $60/cat .. Drove 2 hours each way to bring our dog and two cats to be spayed, and it was more than worth it. The staff are exceptional. Their communication was excellent, calling to let us know that the pre-op exam revealed that one cat had a heart murmur. Dr. Megan explained the risks and options over the phone before proceeding with the surgery. During surgery they also noted that the cat had a tapeworm, and offered a medication for $5.00 more. Over all , the entire staff is very professional and the cost was better than just reasonable. We had two cats and a dog spayed plus a few vaccine updates and a heartworm test . The cost was less than any of our local vets wanted for just spaying our dog. I highly recommend them! They would be our primary vet if we didn't live two hours away.
We took our cat Toothless here to be neutered, receive rabies and general vaccinations and to be micro chipped. I can't say enough how pleased I am with not only the service but the caring nature of the staff as well. They took excellent care of our kitty. I had no prior experience with this clinic, but would HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to anyone that needs to have their cat spayed or neutered. I also really liked the transparency on the pricing, I knew exactly what the 'all in' price was going to be before we even confirmed the appointment. :) Very high quality, competitive price and super caring staff!! They really care about your animal(s). They know your pet by name and actually spend time getting to know your pet, Your pets needs, personality, everything! The care they give is above anything I’ve EVER seen. To me my animals are my life. I want someone to treat my animals like I do, spoiled rotten lol! They do just that! They care about the community and being involved with the local rescues/shelters. The work they do is great and we need a place like this in Madison. Give them a shot you will not be sorry you did.

When it comes to my pets, they are my babies, I am a extremely overprotective mom. Like a lot of people, I have a limited income but I want the best care possible for them. Although I love my regular vet, it is almost 300 dollars to have her spayed there, So had to look around for other options, after doing a lot of research and calling around asking a lot of questions, I decided on Precision veterinary. The staff and Dr Meghan are extremely informative and helpful. Going in I was still nervous, but after leaving I felt I made the right choice and felt comfortable leaving my baby in their care, They answered all my questions and kept me updated after the procedure. Sophie did great and is recovering nicely! I highly recommend and will use them again in our future <3

Great service and great prices especially for those who love to help with strays and pet rescue. So happy to have found this place. They were very helpful as well offering information to volunteer and help get foster pets adopted.
We are so excited to work with Precision vet, with George and Dr. Megan. They take excellent care of all of our rescue dogs and helps us as much as they are able with our needs. Wow! I was so impressed with Dr. Meghan as well as the support staff at Precision when I took my Hugo in to be neutered! Everything ran super smoothly and my little man is doing great! Extremely affordable as well, though I would have been willing to pay more just for the sheer quality of service that my pup and I experienced. Highly recommend!

Low cost vet clinic, but still high quality. I've taken a few of my foster dogs there and have been very happy. They're flexible with scheduling appointments and with drop-off / pick up times. Every staff member I've interacted with has been knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend!
I recently got our newest addition kitten, Salem, fixed here and I have to say the whole procedure was fast, affordable and painless (for both him and I) Tl;dr For an affordable and caring place to take your pet, especially to be fixed, I Cannot recommend this place enough. The staff here is amazingly kind and informative and the procedure from start to finish was so easy. Their handling of my kitties recent visit was the best vet visit I've had in my long history of pet ownership. They were extremely efficient without losing any professional demeaner. The scheduling could not have been easier, everything done online and was able to get in the same week I made the appointment, which in my experience almost never happens. When you show up at 730 the morning of apt you'll fill out a short amount of paperwork and get an informative run down with the group of anyone else also scheduled that day, of the procedure and the after care for your little one as they take them off to get ready. The pick up time window is super flexible, from 4-6pm, and super easy. Upon arrival they go over details of surgery and aftercare. Give you meds and make sure you fully understand them. After payment, you're good to go. I especially loved that the receptionist was as in love with my kitten as I am, so it was fun to get to banter a bit, but something tells me she's just really that sweet and good at her job. Overall, fantastic experience, especially for the price.

We had our two cats neutered here. We originally got a quote from a different vet for $300/cat to neuter. At Precision Veterinary, we only paid $60/cat, and we were able to get an appointment just two days in advance. The appointment was easy to set up online, and you could additionally specify shots (such as rabies and FRCP) for $10/each (other vet was $25/each). Cats were dropped off 7:30-8:00 AM and picked up 5:00-6:00 PM. Megan discussed the procedure, possible complications, and post-operative care during drop off. Very pleased with the experience and the cats are doing great!
Amazing vets, they truly care about the animals. Amazing prices too, on a student budget this was the only place I could afford and trust to take my cat for a spay.
Very friendly group of people who care about animals. The facilities are very nice and the process is a lot more organized than other low cost vetting options. I’m excited to have an option on the west side of Madison. Also, free coffee! 😊
