WHAT KIND OF APPOINTMENT DO YOU NEED?
- Spay or Neuter — New Client
Part 1: Informed Consent
Bring your pet in for a wellness exam to discuss the spay/neuter procedure with a vet – please email the clinic to schedule that pre-surgical appointment: [email protected]
This is a legal requirement for us to perform the surgery – you must complete Informed Consent before we can schedule the surgical procedure.
For folks with financial or travel restrictions ONLY, there is an option for Informed Consent which does not require a pre-surgical visit – use the calendar above to sign up for a conference call. Make sure to record the date/time, phone number, and PIN as you must call in (we do not call you). Once you complete that, email us to schedule surgery: [email protected]
If you have a purebred cat, we require the pre-surgical wellness exam to discuss the increased anesthetic risk due to the higher incidence of heart issues such as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Purebred cats cannot have Informed Consent via the conference call.

Surgeries are booking out roughly 12-16 weeks after completion of Informed Consent. During Summer months, dog spays may even exceed 16 weeks.
